About
Building the tools for agentic development
Coding agents can build an app in an afternoon. Knowing whether it will work for real users still takes far longer than it should. We think that can change, and we are building the tools to change it.
Our story
nxtstack started in 2026 with the tooling we built for our own team. We were frustrated by how much work it took to get every new repository ready for coding agents: the same instructions, checks, review, and docs, rebuilt from scratch each time.
As we dug deeper, we realized setup was only part of the problem. The bigger problem was that we didn't know if the code our agents wrote would actually work in production. We didn't know where our gaps were, or whether each change was making the app harder to run, monitor, and fix. And AI projects were moving too fast to check all of that by hand. So we built tools to find those gaps: agent readiness, code review, and Autodoc.
Now nxtstack is an agentic development platform, currently in invite-only beta. We built it for ourselves first, and we are excited to build what comes next with you.
What we believe
The principles behind how we design, build, and deliver.
-
Agent management is the job.
Building software has changed. Builders now direct the agents that write the code, and they spend far more of their time designing and deciding. That is still core engineering work, and it is new for almost everyone. We want to make it easier, so you can spend your time working with your agents on the problem, not on boilerplate and repository setup.
-
It's not done until it's verified.
An agent saying "done" is a claim. The agentic loop only works when a coding agent can check its own work. Those checks give it the confidence to change your system, and they teach it what your quality standards are. You should not have to carry the weight of working out whether every change meets the bar before your app goes out.
-
Agent readiness is automatic.
Coding agents were supposed to save us time. Every builder knows where that time goes instead: setting up each repository, getting the agents to do what you want, then going back to make sure nothing drifted. We are automating that work, so you get the time back.
Our mission
Make every codebase agent ready.
AI agents do their best work when a repository gives them clear instructions and a way to check their work. We build the tools that find the gaps in agentic development and show you how to fix them.
